During my tenure as the Human Resources Manager at Markley Group, I played a pivotal role in modernizing our HR functions and transitioning from traditional methods to cutting-edge technologies. Recognizing the need for a strategic overhaul, I spearheaded the integration of top-tier HRIS/Payroll, BenefitAdmin, Retirement, and Identity Management System technologies, which transformed HR into a comprehensive department aligned with company objectives.

One significant milestone was the implementation of BambooHR as our new HRIS/Payroll platform. This transition not only streamlined our operations but also resulted in a substantial 40% reduction in operational costs. Additionally, I established a partnership with Quest Diagnostics, leading to a remarkable 50% cost reduction per drug screening test across all 50 states.

To optimize our hiring process, I seamlessly integrated Backgrounds Online into BambooHR's ATS, effectively reducing costs per background check by 40%. Furthermore, through strategic collaboration with USI Insurance Services, I achieved over $160k in instant benefit cost reduction.

As the Head of Human Resources, I led policy and procedure updates in collaboration with key stakeholders, ensuring alignment with company objectives and compliance requirements. I provided essential support to our Compliance Director in HR evidence provision for SOC 1&2 and ISO audits, resulting in successful compliance and re-certifications.

Efficiency was further enhanced by integrating and automating BambooHR with OKTA and Microsoft AD, resulting in a significant 60% reduction in manual HR processes related to onboarding and offboarding. Reporting directly to the CFO, I offered HR recommendations concerning company policies with financial implications across all four Markley entities.

Prior to my promotion as the Human Resources Director, I revamped new hire packets to streamline onboarding processes and updated the Leave Management system to incorporate the latest legal amendments. I also provided oversight in payroll runs, ensuring accuracy and collaborating closely with the CFO to reconcile payroll records and ensure accurate financial reporting.

Through these initiatives, I have not only modernized HR practices but also contributed significantly to operational efficiency, cost reduction, compliance, and strategic alignment with organizational objectives at Markley Group.
